The pepper mill features a mechanism with incomparable cutting edge, designed specifically for peppercorns 6mm or less in diameter. The black ring on top of the knob helps identify the mill quickly and easily. The salt mill is equipped with gears designed to specifically grind coarse dry salt and features a gold knob with a white ring to differentiate it from the pepper mill.
